Program Goals
The design of the workshop facilitated exchange of expertise among participants.

The workshop events engaged me in active learning related to its goals.

Workshop Goals
I believe the following goals of the workshop were met:

a. Identify the challenges in preparing 2YC students for a successful geoscience transfer to 4YC degree

b. Share ideas for best practices to improve the preparation of 2YC students for a geoscience degree

c. Identify and discuss current transfer agreements between 2YC and 4YC geoscience departments in Illinois

d. Foster development of a local network of faculty and department chairs interested in 2YC geoscience education
