Integrate more math and statistics into Earth science courses -- July 14-17, 2025 virtual workshop (1-3pm ET daily). "The Math Your Earth Science Majors Need" modules make learning quantitative skills easier. Participants receive a 400 USD stipend after completing the entire workshop. (40 USD fee)

The Math You Need, When You Need It Math Tutorials for Students Majoring in the Earth Sciences
Undergraduate majors in the Earth and environmental sciences also often struggle with effectively applying math in Earth science. This project is developing co-curricular modules to support majors-level students on math concepts relevant to their courses.

The IGUaNA teaching materials feature urban environmental, engineering, and forensic questions that can be answered through geophysics. A fourth teaching module, focused on teaching magnetics and gravity, has been added to the collection.
