Education Showcase: Sharing Best Practices and Strategies for Teaching Geoscience

This workshop is the sixth regional workshop being held in Raleigh, NC, as part of the SAGE 2YC project. Workshop participants will share best practices to support the success of our 2YC geoscience students, and further work on putting these ideas into action. The program will mainly focus on participants sharing successful teaching strategies that have been implemented in seated and online geoscience classes, as well as assessments and data that have informed these strategies. In addition, the program will highlight diversity and career preparation, and it will support continued collaboration among faculty at regional 2YCs.
