The Cutting Edge website on Developing Student Understanding of Complex Systems has been revised and updated. New resources feature pages on promising pedagogical approaches, including detailed information on using computer models to teach complex systems and examples of how to use an inquiry-based or role-playing approach. Additional pages define the characteristics of complex systems, describe a variety of methods for assessing student understanding of complex systems, and summarize key ideas from the 2010 workshop. There are also collections of teaching activities, courses, assessments, visualizations, recommended readings, and references contributed by the community.
