The workshop will be held at Bjorklunden, Lawrence University's 425-acre northern campus located on Lake Michigan in Door County, WI.

Friday, June 25th

6:00-7:30 pm: Welcome mixer and dinner
7:30-9:00 pm: Goals and outline of workshop; Discussion of review criteria and what makes a good activity? Activities distributed to reviewers

Saturday, June 26th

8:00-8:30 am: Continental breakfast
8:30-8:45 am: Goals for the day
8:45-10:15 am: Examples of Activities I: A chance to see how other field scientists are using field technology
10:15-10:30 am: Break
10:30-11:30 am: Disciplinary Group Break-Out Session (We will divide into groups along disciplinary boundaries to discuss field technology in your discipline, and constraints and opportunities).
11:30 am-12:00 pm: Break-out sessions report back to whole group.
12:00-1:00 pm: Lunch and opportunity for informal interaction among workshop participants
1:00-2:00 pm: Review activity 1 and prepare feedback (intra-disciplinary)
2:00-2:30 pm: Re-examine review criteria as group
2:30-2:45 pm: Break
2:45-3:45 pm: Review activity 2 and prepare feedback (cross-disciplinary)
3:45-5:00 pm: Free time to relax and/or to explore unfamiliar mobile technologies
5:00-6:00 pm: Examples of Activities II: Poster Session
6:00-7:00 pm: Dinner
7:00-9:00 pm: Discuss comments with reviewers and revise activities

Sunday, June 27th

8:00-8:30 am: Continental breakfast
8:30-8:45 am: Review of yesterday and goals for today
8:45-10:30 am: Revision of your activity and preparation of supplementary materials
10:30-11:00 am: SERC's Content Management System
11:00 am-12:00 pm: Post Activity to SERC
12:00-12:30 pm: Wrap-up discussion: where do we go from here?
12:30-1:30 pm: Lunch
