8:45 - 9:15 Building a community of learners: "official" welcome, introductions, ice breaker and conference overview

9:15 - 10:15 Nerding out in the aquarium - using Whales to Whelks or tidepool guides to model how we beachwalk

10:15- 10:30 Break

10:30-11:30 "Blooming" your courses: applying Bloom's Taxonomy to your assignments through a paired work session (bring copies of an exam or an assignment that you'd like to update)

11:30-12:30 Lunch discussion: Keeping non-majors courses relevant in the age of guided pathways

12:30-2:00 Sharing our gems and nuggets from our classroom activities (lecture and lab) through an activity showcase
(Bring your gem to share as a handout and in electronic format (e.g. on a thumb drive), not as a printed and rehearsed poster presentation)

2:00 - 2:45 Envisioning long-term student outcomes through scaled brainstorming
(Bring your vision and ideas of the key "takeaways" or 5-year messages that we build into our courses in hopes that students remember them long after they've left our classes.)

2:45 - 3:00 Break

3:00 - 3:45 Building a shared resource and planning for the future

3:45 - 4:00 End of workshop evaluation and closing
