• Bringing Coding the Geoscience Classroom - Virtual Workshop
  Incorporate computation into your undergraduate classroom - January 13-14, 2026 virtual workshop (11 am - 4 pm ET daily). At the virtual workshop you will learn approaches and strategies to help your students develop their computational skills.
• Generative AI in the Geoscience Classroom
  

  Explore how generative AI is impacting geoscience education in this free webinar. We will highlight some emerging practices and perspectives on the use of these tools by educators, especially in guiding their students to appropriate use. The webinar will include time for participants to share and hear from each other so we can start to build a collective understanding of the current landscape.

• Strengthen Quantitative Skills in Your Earth Science Course
  

  Integrate more math and statistics into Earth science courses -- July 14-17, 2025 virtual workshop (1-3pm ET daily). "The Math Your Earth Science Majors Need" modules make learning quantitative skills easier. Participants receive a 400 USD stipend after completing the entire workshop. (40 USD fee)
