Thanks to the participants for your engagement. A few quick points:
1) we threw out a lot of vocabulary today and hope that our references can help you steer through it
2) one of the areas this vocabulary might have been confusing is the the area for communications competence. Hopefully we made clear the fundamental importance of two-way communication between "stakeholders" but also across disciplines and cultures. We talk about this communications competence as "interpersonal" competence, so we do not mean to short-change the fundamental significance of effective communication in sustainability,
3) We did short-change the importance of the humanities in sustainability education, particularly when it comes to "Agency" and community engagement. I (Rod) believe the humanities are the fundamental way in which communication exists within and across cultures so they must be integrated in any systems, futures, and strategic thinking analyses.
