Survey for Graduating Seniors

From Department of Geosciences at Boise State University

Purpose

We use this survey to assess overall student satisfaction with the department, to assess whether or not students believe they have met the program learning goals, and to gather information about student's plans and experiences.

Implementation

The paper survey is given once per year to all graduating seniors.

Use of the Data

The data are complied to provide an ongoing log of student experiences.

Effectiveness

The survey has been useful for establishing which of the learning goals our program is meeting and which of them we need to focus more attention on.
