Request a DOI

This form allows you to request that a new digital object identifier (DOI) be generated and assigned to a web page that SERC hosts.

If the page at the url below does not currently have a DOI assigned (it would be visible at the top of the page) and you would like to cite it in an academic context where having a DOI would be useful you may request that one be assigned. We will review requests for appropriateness and notify you when a DOI is assigned. Consider:

• Is this a public page?
• Is this a 'finished' page in the sense that no meaningful revisions are likely to made in the future?
• Does this page contains substantive original content that is likely to have enduring utility for a long time (many years)?

If the answer to any of these questions is 'no' assigning a DOI is unlikely to be appropriate.
