Overview and Context

Hampton University is a Historically Black Institution that was formed in 1868 by General Armstrong. There are over 3,500 undergraduates in the student body and another nearly 1,000 graduate students. Around 90% of the student body is African-American. It is a private institution that offers over 70 undergraduate and 25 graduate degree options.
