Faculty Reflections and Stories:

Part of the InTeGrate Shippensburg University Program Model

Team reflection:

Value of Working Collaboratively

Through this project, our programs brought faculty and staff together from a wide range of disciplines. We learned that many individuals across campus have already been incorporating sustainability in their teaching, and are interested in interdisciplinary collaboration. The enthusiasm we saw at each event demonstrated the need for sustainability related programs on campus, and venues for faculty to come together and share knowledge. InTeGrate brought fresh ideas and resources to our faculty, and helped create a collaborative environment that will be invaluable as we move forward.

Group Experience of Working with InTeGrate Materials

Many faculty members incorporated InTeGrate Materials in their coursework throughout this program. A common theme we heard was how easy it was to adjust a particular unit to include a sustainability-related component.
