Embedded Files Alongside Ideas

During collaborations, you may have times when you want to upload files, whether they be figures, documents or images, that need some additional context or associated ideas that are open for discussion with your collaborators. Within a workspace, you can embed or display some files and include details/context about the file near related information in the page (e.g. place a document next to the area where it will be discussed on the online meeting agenda). This approach pays big dividends down the road when you want to find a particular file and its context. Ultimately, your entire group is on the same page with clear organization and communication of ideas and materials.

From a collaborative standpoint, this dynamic between files and ideas can be used to serve multiple purposes such as proposal and manuscript drafting, workshop planning, project management, etc. Learn more about using workspaces for Project Management.
