Pre-workshop Tasks

  • Attend the webinar/meeting June 20 - 11am PT, 12pm MT, 1pm CT, 2pm ET (Zoom link was emailed to participants.)
  • Spend time familiarizing yourself with your initially assigned module and making a list of things that may need updating

  • 9:00 Workshop and project overview; Introductions and icebreaker
  • 9:45 Discussion on "fragility" and "robustness" of data-rich activities and data portals; initial brainstorm on general recommendations for robustness
  • 10:30 Break
  • 10:45 Resource updating workflow, Tracking Workspace (in Module Assignments page), and using the Serckit Community Contribution Tool (CCT)
  • 11:15 Participants work in tracking workspace for their assigned module
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 1:00 Continue work from before lunch
  • 2:30 Break
  • 2:45 Further group discussion on progress/challenges so far and recommendations for teaching resource robustness
  • 3:30 Individual reflection and planning

Monday

  • 8:30 Introduction to the day; Recap roadcheck feedback
  • 8:40 Work on module updating + meet with your leader contact person
    • Please use the CCT form if you are ready (or at least look through the form with some of your work in mind)
  • 10:00 Break
  • 10:15 Work on module updating as best serve your needs
    •  individual work, peer discussions, and/or leader check-ins
  • 11:00 Whole group discussion on CCT use
  • 11:20 Roadcheck
  • 11:30 Adjourn for the day

Tuesday

  • 8:30 Introduction to the day; Recap roadcheck feedback + priorities reminder
  • 8:35 Work on module updating 
  • 10:00 Break
  • 10:15 Continued work on module updating, peer review (individual work, peer discussions, and/or leader check-ins)
  • 10:45 Revisit best practices for data-rich activity robustness; further development of community recommendations
  • 11:05 Initial discussion of post-workshop plans
  • 11:20 Roadcheck
  • 11:30 Adjourn for the day

Wednesday

  • 8:30 Introduction to the day; Recap roadcheck feedback
  • 8:35 Assessing done-ness of modules
  • 9:00 Work on module updating (meet with leader-contact)
