Afternoon Mini Workshop

This workshop is designed to provide insight and guidance for proposal preparation for submission to NSF programs. Topics covered will include funding opportunities, the Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), types of proposal submissions, types of funding mechanisms and sections of an NSF proposal.

2:00 Overview of NSF programs, Big Ideas, types of proposals and proposal preparation

2:55 Small-group discussions regarding challenges to submitting successful proposals (institutional, collaborator, external partners, etc.)

3:15 Whole-group discussion of common proposal submission challenges and strategies for addressing them

3:45 Wrap-up and Workshop Evaluation
