Early Career 2018 Participant Follow-up Survey
The Early Career workshop aims to support new faculty to succeed in their demanding new positions by focusing on topics including:
- effective teaching strategies and course design
- establishing a research program in a new setting
- working with research students
- balancing professional and personal responsibilities
- time-management
At the end of the workshop, we asked you to reflect on changes you planned to make in your professional life in one or more of these areas. We want to know how you've progressed towards those goals and what roadblocks you may have encountered along the way.
Please complete the following less than 5-minute survey to help us better understand the progress made and challenges faced by workshop alumni.
Your input is valuable to us as we plan future workshops. Your responses to this survey will be kept confidential; however, we would like you to enter your name below. This will improve our ability to evaluate the program by allowing us to link your responses to this survey to your responses to other evaluation instruments at the workshop. The evaluator will remove your name from the survey results and only use it to make this linkage. The workshop conveners will not see your name, and any results from this survey will be presented in aggregate to ensure anonymity.
