Alumni Survey

Purpose

We used this survey once, in 2004, to prepare an outcomes assessment plan for the department.

Implementation

We put it online and emailed alumni to receive responses.

Use of the Data

We used the data we received to put together our Outcomes Assessment Plan.

Effectiveness

We received a reasonable number of responses when we used it in 2004; [I believe that] an incentive, e.g. an iPod, could have encouraged more alumni to respond. I would like to use it on a regular basis to survey new alumni or graduating students.
