Pahoehoe lava from the Aopo Volcanic Field which erupted in 1906 (I think) on the north side of Savai'i, Samoa. This vesicular basalt is an example of the hot-spot volcanism that created the Samoan Archipelago.

Collected December 2006.

Scanned in Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab at Iowa State University.

Scanned with the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner set on "Dark."
