Participants in the 2009 workshop on Preparing for an Academic Career in the Geosciences developed ideas for teaching activities on a variety of topics. Groups of participants chose goals, brainstormed activity ideas, chose one to flesh out, and produced a poster about their idea, all within a 1.5 hour session.
