Megan Jones
National Ecological Observatory Network

Summary

This two-day workshop taught in November 2019 was designed for graduate students to introduce them to the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON). The workshop materials include teaching how to access and work with NEON data, introduction to reproducible science, and introduction to NEON metadata, protocols, and other infrastructure resources. The workshop included hands-on, interactive instruction on how to access and work with NEON data, both through the NEON data portal and programmatically via R package wrapper for the API.
