Rendezvous Attendee Information for Monday

Whether you are a first-time participant or a 10-year veteran of Rendezvous, we hope you were able to meet new colleagues and connect with old friends at the opening reception! Tomorrow marks the official start of Rendezvous programming. We are excited about opportunities to learn from each other during the upcoming week. As you prepare for tomorrow's schedule of events, please make note of the following:

Registration and Badge Pickup

Registration is located in the atrium of the Temple University Science Education and Research Center (SERC) building.
Monday registration hours are from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
You must check in at the registration table before attending any events, so please allow enough time before your workshop or event begins.
Rendezvous attendee badges will be required to enter the SERC building. Rendezvous staff will be available to let you in the first time you enter.

NSF Proposal Informational Session

In this optional lunch hour session, NSF Program Director Rachel Teasdale will share information about NSF, new changes to the Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), best practices for proposal preparation, programs and award opportunities that are relevant to Rendezvous participants. There will be lots of time for Q&A and discussion.

Monday Poster Session

4:30pm - 6:00 pm | SERC Building - Atrium

All Rendezvous participants are invited to attend the Monday Poster Session. Posters will be available throughout the afternoon. Presenters are asked to hang their posters by 1:00pm. Posters must be taken down by 6:00pm.

EarthScope Consortium (formerly IRIS and UNAVCO) is dedicated to supporting transformative global geophysical research and education. EarthScope provides free, easy-to-use tools for incorporating geophysical data into instruction, high-quality teaching resources (e.g. lessons, animations, etc.) for secondary and higher ed, and impactful student training programs.

Interested in receiving Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit(s) for participation at the Rendezvous? Complete attendance sign-in sheets and end of workshop evaluations so NAGT staff can verify your participation. Send your request to NAGT's Executive Office at nagtservice@nagt.org.

Presenting at the Rendezvous?

Review the Presenter Guidelines web page regarding format and how to upload a digital copy of your presentations and materials. If you are presenting a poster, please bring it with you. Oral presentations should be uploaded no later than 8:00am the morning of your presentation. If you are leading a teaching demo, please bring any materials you may need.
