Typical Use:
- Elemental composition on the microscale
- Thin film composition and thickness
- Backscatter and cathodo-luminescence imaging and x-ray mapping
Conditions for Use:
- Submitted samples will be analyzed on a contract basis (i.e. lab personnel will do the work)
- Visitors are invited to work in the lab to work with lab personnel
- Visitors are invited to work in the lab to design and do the work yourself
User Fees:
Charges are hourly based on actual instrument beam time. Contact lab manager for current rates.
Instrument Priorities:
Time critical commercial work is given priority whenever possible.
Remote Use:

Instrument runs both Cameca Peak Sight and Probe Software Probe for Windows applications for maximum flexibility.
