Opening Activities

We will gather informally for a reception and dinner at 5:30 PM at a nearby restaurant. The workshop will officially begin with a program Sunday evening, July 28, 2013 at 7:00. If you cannot arrive on Sunday in time for the 7:00 session, please plan to travel on Saturday and indicate that on your travel information form. Under these circumstances, we will arrange for housing for you on Saturday night.

Optional NSF Trip

We are offering an optional one-day trip to the National Science Foundation on Friday, August 2. We will start with an orientation session followed by small group meetings with program officers. Following that, NSF staff will offer group sessions on some specific NSF programs and you will be able to meet individually with NSF program officers. Transportation to NSF is on your own. This NSF trip is optional, but we encourage everyone, including faculty from two-year colleges, to attend.

If you opt to stay in your hotel room on Friday night you will be responsible for the cost of the extra night's stay.

Participants are responsible for their travel to and from the workshop.
