2019 Rendezvous Travel Stipend Deadline is Sunday, April 7!
Dear Colleagues,
Interested in joining the 2019 Earth Educators' Rendezvous in Nashville, TN but funding is a challenge? Don't miss an opportunity to apply for a travel stipend! Stipends are awarded to applicants based on financial need and the potential impact on their participation, but are only available to those who have met the application deadline.
Travel stipend applications are due this Sunday, April 7, and recipients will be notified by April 26 (prior to the Early Bird Registration deadline).
This year's Rendezvous will be held in Nashville from July 15-19, and is co-hosted by Tennessee State and Vanderbilt Universities. Learn more about the program on the Rendezvous website.
Also, don't forget about the following deadlines:
- Apply to participate in the pre-Rendezvous activity review camp or the NGSS tagging camp, which take place on Sunday, July 14. Spots are limited and participants receive a $500 stipend upon completion. Learn more about these events, including the selection criteria, and apply to participate by May 1.
- Lock in the best rates and reserve your spot early - the Early Bird Registration deadline is May 1, and fees are reduced for all NAGT Members. Read more about the many benefits of NAGT and join NAGT.
- Want to share your research or activities with your colleagues as part of the contributed program? It's not too late to submit a poster abstract or Share-a-Thon presentation! The late submission deadline for both is May 15. We also invite you to check out this year's presentations, now available from links on the Program and Contributed Program web pages.
