BASICS
The Business And Science: Integrated Curriculum for Sustainability (BASICS) team developed and pilot-tested transdisciplinary curricular modules and discipline-specific activities for undergraduate students that combine STEM, business, and other fields of knowledge, with a focus on the wicked problems of sustainability in a global economy. SERC leads the work on student assessment that measures student learning and attitudinal changes related to the BASICS curriculum and leads the work on disseminating the curriculum via the website.

Model-Evidence Link Diagrams Project
This project promotes students' civic and scientific evaluations of sources and alternative claims when confronted with controversial and/or complex socioscientific issues in the Earth and environmental sciences through Lateral Reading (LR) and Model-Evidence Link (MEL) scaffolds. SERC hosts this the website which provides supporting teaching resources for K-12 teachers.

Nanotechnology in STEM
Through the NNCI, the Nanotechnology in STEM website is hosted on SERC in order to help alleviate the lack of nanotechnology resources in both smaller academic institutions, as well as in the small to medium size commercial sector. SERC has supported this project by providing workshop development and implementation expertise and assessing the ways in which the website meets stakeholders' needs and expectations, the extent to which the project outcomes are being realized.

Curriculum for the Bioregion
Curriculum for the Bioregion is a network of educators in Washington State who are integrating sustainability and place-based content and pedagogy in a broad array of undergraduate courses and community-based learning. SERC hosts the project website and provided tools to facilitate faculty learning community meetings.

Know Soil, Know Life Educators Guide
This website is the educator's guide to Soil Society of America's Know Soils Know Life high school/undergraduate textbook. It provides activities, assessments, sequencing guidance and standards information for educator's using the textbook.

Earth Educators Rendezvous
The Earth Educators' Rendezvous is a semi-annual conference featuring a combination of workshops, posters, talks, round-table discussions, field trips, and plenary presentations. SERC manages the conference logistics, supports the conference programming, assist the planning committee, and hosts the conference website.

Microbial Life
This project aimed to provide a contemporary resource of expert information about the ecology, diversity and evolution of micro-organisms as well as common research techniques used in the field for students, K-12 teachers, university faculty, as well as for the general public. It was a collaborative project of the Marine Biology Laboratory, Woods Hole, MA, and Montana State University, Bozeman, MT.

Integrating Research and Education
This site explored ways to bring modern research results into undergraduate courses and served as a primary pathway for ensuring courses reflected rapid advances in the discipline and served as an exciting mechanism for engaging students. SERC hosts the website and SERC staff contributed to content on the site.

Teach the Earth
Teach the Earth is a portal to a broad range of Earth education materials. Originally developed by SERC as a central access point to the materials of its hosted projects, it is now operated in coordination with the National Association of Geoscience Teachers and serves as a locus of sharing across the Earth education community.

Climate Education in an Age of Media
The CAM project developed approaches to bring student media production into climate change education in ways that are engaging, empowering, and can be readily adopted in a wide range of instructional environments. SERC partnered to host this collection that includes guidance on supporting student production of climate change videos as well as example student videos.
