Short course travel support application – GETSI @ GSA 2022

Teaching SfM and GNSS Methods to Undergraduates in the Field

October 7-8, 2022 (8 am Friday-5 pm Saturday)
Boulder, Colorado (GSA 2022 Annual Meeting is in Denver October 9-12)

Deadline to apply for a travel stipend - September 6, 2022

Rolling acceptances starting July 2022

This short course is intended for instructors whose courses include at least some field teaching components. Summer field camp and academic-year courses with field components both qualify. Later-stage graduate students with teaching responsibility are also eligible. Participants of 2016-18 UNAVCO/GETSI field short courses are also welcome. (The greatest overlap would be with the 2017 short course. Check in with Beth [prattsitaula AT unavco.org] if you have questions.)

Support includes $340 stipend (issued the month following the short course) and 2 nights hotel. ($300 stipend + $40 to offset registration)
