Preparing Undergraduates -- Data-Rich Introductory Teaching Modules and Connecting Content to Geoscience Careers

Location: Geological Society of America Annual Meeting, Phoenix, AZ

Deadline to apply for a travel stipend - September 1, 2019

This short course is intended for instructors of introductory Earth science courses. Community college instructors, including adjunct faculty, are particularly encouraged to participate. Late stage graduate students may also be eligible if they have significant teaching responsibilities.

Stipends are: $220 for Phoenix-area residents; $520 for those from elsewhere.

By submitting my application, I agree that if I am granted a stipend I will attend the entire day. I understand that that I am only eligible for the stipend ($220 for Phoenix-area residents; $520 for those from elsewhere) if I attend the entire day. The course will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 8 am-5 pm.
