"Ground Truth"
My students act as the "ground truth" for two NASA Satellites. Instruments on these satellites measure cloud cover. On the ground we record ground observations of cloud cover, humidity, barometric pressure, and temperature atthe time the sateliite passes over Plymouth. We can then access our data or other location data. Questions that can be asked about this data set might include:
What is the relationship between humidity and cloud cover?
How does cloud cover affect surface temperature?
