Some data-rich curriculum materials have resources that can become out of date or unavailable. To address this issue, this workshop will introduce the Community Contribution Tool (CCT), which facilitates updating datasets, graphs and other components of data-rich activities hosted on the Teach the Earth website.

This workshop is longer than a typical EER workshop but includes $1150 in stipends - $650 after completing all workshop activities and $500 after completing post-workshop deliverables by the August 16 deadline (will take ~10 hours post-workshop). If accepted to the workshop, you will need to register for the Rendezvous, for at least 3 days (Monday-Wednesday). Information about how to register will be provided in acceptance notices.

Applications will be reviewed starting April 1 and will be considered until the workshop is full. Accepted applicants will start to be notified by April 15 or at least prior to the May 6 early bird deadline.
*InTeGrate and GETSI projects developed undergraduate teaching resources that feature Earth science learning in the context of addressing societal challenges. Many of the curriculum modules include data sets and other potentially time-sensitive resources. A new NSF-IUSE grant is supporting the development of the Community Contribution Tool to update a subset of the ITG-GETSI modules.
