Rendezvous Attendee Information for Thursday
To those participants just arriving at the Rendezvous, welcome!
Thursday is transition day. Whether you are just joining us for the second part of the Rendezvous, or if you have been with us since the beginning of the week, we hope you are looking forward to high-quality, intellectually rich Thursday and Friday programming.
As you prepare for Thursday's schedule of events, please make note of the following:
Registration and Badge Pickup
- Registration is located in the atrium of the Temple University Science Education and Research Center (SERC) building.
- Thursday registration hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- You must check in at the registration table before attending any events, so please allow enough time before your workshop or event begins.
- Rendezvous attendee badges will be required to enter the SERC building. Staff will be available to let you in the first time you enter.
Participant Information
The participant information web page includes information on arriving at the Rendezvous, including ground transportation options and registration check-in; during the Rendezvous, including campus maps and evening events; and after the Rendezvous, including information on local attractions and highlights.
Morning Workshops

Registered for a Thursday-Friday morning workshop? You can find details about your workshop on the corresponding session page, linked from the Rendezvous Program. Please attend the workshop you are registered for. If you have forgotten which morning workshop you registered for, it will be on the back of your badge.
Lunch Break Events
eARTh Activity
11:45am-1:00pm | SERC Building 228
Join for a temperature tapestry tutorial, no experience necessary! Supplies will be provided. Meet in SERC Building room 228.
Cognitive Sciences fMRI Lab Tour
12:00pm-12:45pm
Participants registered for the Cognitive Sciences fMRI Lab tour will meet near the registration table in the SERC building atrium at 11:35am before walking over to Weiss Hall.
Board Games Social
12:00pm-1:30pm | SERC Building 210
Join Ander Sundell, Angela Daneshmand, and Nancy Chen at noon for lunch and a session of board games that can be used in your classroom. See the Games in Education workshop page for a list of games. Contact Nancy Chen with any questions.

Exhibitor Spotlight
The StraboSpot database and applications enable collecting, storing, and sharing of geologic data across scales and disciplines. StraboField and StraboMicro are designed to help Geologists collect data and integrate field data with laboratory (thin-section scale) observations and associated data; StraboExperimental allows scientists to upload rock deformation data. The StraboSpot apps allow users to integrate images seamlessly into the database and attribute data flexibly. Developed with community input and feedback, the data system adheres to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) to ensure data consistency and accessibility.

Presenting at the Rendezvous?
Review the Presenter Guidelines web page regarding format and how to upload a digital copy of your presentations and materials. If you are presenting a poster, please bring it with you. Oral presentations should be uploaded no later than 8:00am the morning of your presentation. If you are leading a teaching demo, please bring any materials you may need.
CEU Credit Opportunity
Interested in receiving Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit(s) for participation at the Rendezvous? Complete attendance sign-in sheets and end of workshop evaluations so NAGT staff can verify your participation. Send your request to NAGT's Executive Office at nagtservice@nagt.org.
