Stipend Opportunities at EER 2023
Take advantage of stipend opportunities to offset the cost of travel and registration. Stipends for travel, Academic Career Prep Workshop, and Review Camp are available by application. NAGT members receive $100 off registration. If you're not a member, you can join today!
Travel Stipend Applications Due April 5
A limited number of travel stipends are available for those in need of funds. Maximum stipends are $500 and are for airfare and/or lodging only. Applications are due by April 5, 2023.

Academic Career Prep Award Applications Due Wednesday, April 12
Thanks to generous donations from NAGT members and supporters, this year's Preparing for an Academic Career workshop is currently able to offer stipends of $300 each to a limited number of graduate students attending the workshop. Applications are due by April 12.

Review Camp Applications Due Wednesday, May 3
Apply to participate in our annual "Review Camp" to help peer-review the collections of submitted teaching activities from Teach the Earth and NAGT-sponsored programs. For this important service, NAGT will provide a $500 stipend. Apply by May 3.

Field Trips & Lab Tours
Field trips are now open for registration! Registration for field trips is part of the Rendezvous registration form. Already registered and want to add a field trip? No problem! Email Monica Bruckner(mbruckne@carleton.edu) for assistance.
This year's field trips include:
- Sunday, July 10, Brand Park, Verdugo Mountains, Glendale: Half-day (6:30am-12pm) Pre-Rendezvous field trip. Cost: $50, includes bus transportation
- Wednesday, July 12, Caltech Seismo Lab: afternoon lab tour. Two one-hour slots (1:30-2:30 or 3-4pm). No additional cost.
- Wednesday, July 12, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Tour: afternoon lab tour (12:15-4pm). Cost: $50, includes bus transportation. See web page for important requirements. Register by June 7!
- Sunday, July 15, San Andreas Fault at Wallace Creek and Parkfield, CA: full-day (7am-7pm) Post-Rendezvous field trip. Cost: $110, includes bus transportation and boxed lunch.

Pasadena Hotel & Pool (recommended)
Rates: (before taxes and fees) $189 per night for a king; $209 per night for a double (limited number available)

Caltech On-Campus Lodging
Rate: $60 per calendar day; Basic, single rooms with a shared common area, kitchen, and bathrooms. Linens, towels, and pillows are not provided. Note: Space is limited! On-campus lodging is only open to participants who are 18 and older.

The Saga Motor Hotel
Rates: (before taxes and fees) Single (full bed): $105 per night (1 person), $110 per night (2 people); King: $110 per night (1 person), $120 per night (2 people)
