Funding Opportunities for Students at EER 2021

Are you a student? Do you have students who are interested in attending the Earth Educators' Rendezvous? The Earth Educators' Rendezvous includes many workshops and events that will be of interest to current undergraduate and graduate students. The Rendezvous provides an opportunity to build skills and expertise in pedagogy, learn about cutting edge educational research, connect with the larger Earth education community, and prepare for a career in education and/or academia.

Academic Career Prep Award

The Preparing for an Academic Career workshop held annually at the Earth Educators' Rendezvous is an opportunity designed for graduate students who are interested in pursuing academic careers in the geosciences. Thanks to generous donations from NAGT members and donors, a Student Career Preparation Fund and Academic Career Prep Award were established to support students attending the Preparing for an Academic Career workshop. Ten stipends of $175 each are available for the 2021 workshop.

Student Support Stipend

The Rendezvous Student Support Stipend is intended to reduce the costs of attending the conference for current students in exchange for volunteer work supporting Rendezvous programming. There are a ten of stipends available for a range of Rendezvous days and time blocks.
