Choose Your Sessions for the NSF Visit

If you will be participating in the virtual visit to NSF, complete the following form by June 1. Be sure to hit the SUBMIT button before leaving this page or your information will be lost.

Important: please read!
Going to NSF is a great opportunity! To make the most of your visit, here is what we recommend:

  1. Choose a small group session for the morning. You can only go to one.
  2. We recommend that you meet with a program officer. See the section on individual meetings, below, for details.
  3. In the form below, you will be asked to choose your top two choices for the concurrent sessions. If it's possible, we will schedule individual meetings around these sessions (and so should you), but if that's not possible, it's usually better (more valuable to you) to meet with a program director than to attend the concurrent sessions. It is permissible to come late or leave early in the concurrent sessions, since the program directors realize that some of you may need to keep individual appointments.
  4. Meet with another program director, if your research does not easily fall into just one program.

In scheduling your virtual visit, these are the priorities that we will follow. We will notify you in early July of what appointments we have made for you. We do not recommend that you attempt to make appointments on your own, given that our group is large enough that we overwhelm the program officers with appointments. We do the best we can to make appointments for you based upon how you fill out this form. If you have a compelling reason for having different priorities, please let us know that in the box for additional comments or questions at the bottom of this form.

The submission deadline has passed.
