The workshop will conclude after dinner on Tuesday, July 9. NOTE: Optional additional workshop sessions will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 7, and in the morning on Wednesday, July 10.

Travel

Participants are responsible for their transportation to and from the workshop.

Arriving by Air
The major airport serving Boulder is the Denver International Airport, DEN. It is approximately 60-75 minutes by car to the UC Boulder campus. Shuttle and taxi service is available from the airport to campus.

SuperShuttle provides transportation from the airport for approximately $33.00 each way per person. You can direct SuperShuttle drivers to drop you off at Williams Village North at University of Colorado, Boulder. Participants will need to make their own reservations for arrival into and departure from Boulder. To explore other transportation options from the airport visit the ground transportation web page from the airport's website. Once we have travel information for all participants, we will provide a list of participants' email addresses and arrival/departure times prior to the workshop so that participants arriving (or departing) at approximately the same time can coordinate ground transportation between the airport and Boulder if they wish.

There is also a public bus that goes from the airport to Boulder and drops off about 4 blocks from Williams Village. The schedule can be found here: RTD bus schedule

The bus costs $13 and you do need exact change if you pay when boarding. RTD (the public transit organization) has a desk at the airport which is sometimes manned where you can purchase a round trip with credit card or cash for $24. If you take the bus, you can get off at the Baseline and Broadway stop and walk ~4 blocks east on Baseline to get to Williams Village. There are buses (the Bound and 225) you could transfer to for those 4 blocks, but they run infrequently on weekends. UPDATE: Williams Village North is ~0.7 miles from the Baseline and Broadway stop (~20-30 minutes walk).
