Online is a lot Different from In-Class Computer InstructionPaul Watta, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan - Dearborn
Because of the Covid virus, we have had to transition to remote learning. It's a lot different and a lot harder than it appears, especially when teaching a large class. When students struggle with their program, it is much easier to sit next to a student and look at their code on their computer than trying to do so over Zoom, etc. But it's a learning process. Ultimately, I think online learning can be as good or even better than in-person, but it tales a lot of planning and organization.
