Judy's 2nd Attempt

I am hoping to use ImageJ to analyze cell sizes, an activity similar to Carla's activity from this summer. I will be measuring protist sizes as opposed to human cells. However, I cannot figure out how to make photos the same size so that when weset a scale it can be applied to other photos. I know we have discussed this twice but I didn't write down the procedure. Can anyone help?

I would be very interested in getting some more detail on what cells and images you are going to be working with.

As part of my teaching on proportions and scale I incorporate the knowledge they get from thier biology class on cell organelles and have students model cells using proportions. However the ratios are often too great to make this practicle for many organelles.

Maybe I could be doing different cell types?
