Hi all. I am trying to use data from the table that goes with the Mass. GIS data in ArcVoyager. When I pull up the census data, I can't remember what to do to get it into Excel and can't find any directions or examples anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks.

We actually never brought data from ArcVoyager into Excel. We went the other way around. If you want to add an Excel spreadsheet to a project, Step 5 of Part 2 of the EET Chapter, Investigating Earthquakes, leads you through the process. As for opening up Census data from within Excel, you simply need to start Excel and then select File Open. Which data file did are you trying to open in Excel? Every GIS file is acutally a set of five files that work together. One is the shape file and another one is the database file. The database files end in .dbf and can be opened into Excel.
