My class is studying cells and there have been quite a few questions regarding them. To tap into the students curiosity, I am going with the unit that Carla McCauliffe developed and talked about during the workshop. So basically, I will work with various cell sizes using Image J. We will explore whether the cell size differs in the human body- how do the blood cell size compare with the nerve cell, skin cell and muscle cell. We will look at cell sizes in different organisms and compare them.
