We hope your Rendezvous experience has been engaging and invigorating so far! As you plan your Wednesday, please take a moment to consult the Program for Wednesday's afternoon opportunities. Options include mini-workshops and the mid-week forum and icebreaker. Join us for the group photo at lunch!

All attendees are invited to join us for the Rendezvous 2023 group photo on the north-facing steps of Building C (located at the star on the map below) at 11:45am.

Morning Workshops

Registered for a Monday-Wednesday morning workshop? You can find details about your workshop on the corresponding session page, linked from the Rendezvous Program. The 3-day morning workshops are held from 8:30-11:30am on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Interested in attending one of tomorrow's afternoon mini workshops? Rendezvous participants registered for Wednesday can find the slate of workshops below (or linked from the Rendezvous Program). The afternoon mini-workshops will be held from 1:30pm - 4:00pm. Please note that some workshop locations have changed.

Forum and Mid-Week Icebreaker

All Rendezvous participants are invited to particiapte in the min-week icebreaker and forum, Engaging our community with societally relevant issues and place-based learning, held from 4:30pm - 5:45pm in CC Building Creveling.

Wednesday Lab Tours

Registered for a Wednesday lab tour? Emails with details about where to meet were sent to all registered participants. If you did not receive the email or have questions about participating, please visit the registration table under the tent in the PCC Quad.

Geoscientist Spotlights

Are you using or interested in using and studying the impact of Geoscientist Spotlights in your classes? Are you interested in pursuing funding to support this effort? Join us for a Wednesday lunch meet up group to share ideas. Meet after the group photo tomorrow - look for Katherine Ryker (kryker@seoe.sc.edu; 404-323-1640). Wednesday Morning Social Event

East coasters & other early risers attending the Earth Educators' Rendezvous! The NAGT Southeastern Section will be hosting a coffee hour at Fika Fika Coffee at 7:30am on Wednesday, July 12. Join old and new friends alike for caffeine & nibbles before walking over to the morning workshops together!

GER Division Social

6:30pm | Lucky Baldwin's Pub

All GER members and those interested in GER are invited to attend this informal gathering. We are planning to meet at the Lucky Baldwin's Pub on Wednesday July 12th at 6:30 pm. The brewery is one and a half miles away from campus at 17 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105, and is accessible by several transit options. Please note there are two Lucky Baldwin's locations in Pasadena and that this event is taking place at the 17 S Raymond Ave location. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. LGBTQIA+ Social

6:30pm | T. Boyle's Tavern

We invite any LGBTQIA participants and allies to meet up for an informal time of food, drinks, and socializing on Wednesday evening. We will meet at T. Boyle's Tavern at 6:30 pm. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. The tavern is a half mile west from Pasadena City College at 37 N Catalina Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106. There won't be a reservation, so we will cluster around tables as needed and hang out as long as people want to. Please contact John McDaris if you have any questions.

Presenting at the Rendezvous?

Review the Presenter Guidelines web page regarding format and how to upload a digital copy of your presentations and materials. If you are presenting a poster, please bring it with you. Oral presentations should be uploaded no later than 8:00am the morning of your presentation. If you are leading a teaching demo, please bring any materials you may need.

CEU Credit Opportunity

Interested in receiving Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit(s) for participation at the Rendezvous? Complete attendance sign-in sheets and end of workshop evaluations so NAGT staff can verify your participation. Send your request to NAGT's Executive Office at nagtservice@nagt.org.
