To those participants just beginning Online Rendezvous, welcome! Tomorrow is transition day. Whether you are just joining us for the second part of the Rendezvous or if you have been with us since the beginning of the week and just wrapped up your Monday-Wednesday morning workshop today, we look forward to another round of high quality, intellectually rich Thursday/Friday programming. Thursday Afternoon Options
Plenary Session
Thursday's plenary speaker is Carl Wieman, Professor of Physics and of the Graduate School of Education, Stanford University. The session Taking a Scientific Approach to Teaching Science will be held at 12:00-1:00pm PT / 1:00-2:00pm MT / 2:00-3:00pm CT / 3:00-4:00pm ET. This session is sponsored by the NAGT Teacher Education Division (TED). Reminder that as with the contributed program, all participants are welcome to attend the plenary sessions, regardless of the number or which days they have registered for.
