Evening Activities

We will post evening activities here, as they are scheduled.

Earth Educators' Rendezvous Opening Reception
7:00pm - 8:30pm - Vanderbilt University Student Life Center. Join us for the opening reception for the 2019 Earth Educators' Rendezvous. Take this opportunity to meet new colleagues, catch up with old ones, and anticipate a great week of Earth education. Light appetizers and a cash bar. Sponsored by NAGT's Southeastern Section.

We invite any K-12 participants to meet up for an informal social hour on Tuesday evening at 6:15ish at the Hurry Back, 2212 Elliston Pl, Nashville, TN 37203. Join us for some networking and maybe a game or two? For questions or to let us know to watch out for you, email Belinda Jacobs or text, 512-252-4646. If you want a ride, Katherine Ryker ( or 404-323-1640) will be driving a van over from Humphries at 6:05pm following the plenary.

LGBTQ+Allies Meetup: We invite any LGBTQ participants and allies to meet up for an informal time of food, drinks, and socializing on Wednesday evening. We'll start the meet-up at 7:00 PM and go until people lose interest.

We'll at least start the evening at the Hurry Back.
2212 Elliston Pl, Nashville, TN 37203
It looks like a nice place with drinks, food, and games. The downside is that Wednesday night is Trivia Night. But if it isn't conducive to conversations and hanging out, there are a number of other places nearby.

Please contact John McDaris (, if you have any questions.

GER/GEO2YC/TED Divisions Social: The GER, GEO2YC and TED Divisions invite everyone to a social from 6:45 - 8:45pm at Saltine restaurant located at 1918 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203. We look forward to seeing you there! If you want a ride, Katherine Ryker ( or 404-323-1640) will be driving a van over from Humphries following the Town Hall.
