Greg Cajete, University of New Mexico

An exploration of a Pueblo Indian sense of place as represented through images, metaphors and activities in the landscape of New Mexico. The focus will be on Pueblo cultural and symbolic relationships with land, water, plants and animals.

Greg Cajete, Ph.D., (Santa Clara Pueblo) is the Director of Native American Studies and an Associate Professor in the Division of Language, Literacy and Socio-cultural Studies in the College of Education at the University of New Mexico. See Greg's bio from the University of New Mexico website.
