Transforming Earth Education - A Look Backward and Forward

It has been 20 years since the publication of Shaping the Future of Undergraduate Earth Science Education, calling for an integrated approach to learning about the Earth system aimed at creating a scientifically literate society. Earth education has changed substantially in those 20 years. In this plenary, Manduca will reflect on what has changed, the lessons learned, and the challenges that remain suggesting priorities and strategies for the work ahead.
