10:15 –10:35am: Benefits of flipped classrooms –how to optimize your time in classroom
10:35 am –11:00am: Participants identify a single topic for developing a "flipped" module with group discussion
11:00 am – 11:20 am: Report out from selected volunteers
11:20 am –11:30 am: Roadcheck
Synworkshop Activities (Thursday afternoon/evening)
- Solidify "flipped" module topic
- formulate first draft of plan for module
- upload to online workshop workspace

8:30am - 8:45am: Overview of day-two objectives—Come to class with rough plan for module
8:45am - 9:15am: Overview of resources for active learning
9:15am - 10:00am: Finalize draft of flipped module
10:00 - 10:15: Break
10:15 am - 10:45am: Reform groups by topic and then to peer-assess "flipped" module draft
10:45am – 11:20am: Participants finalize activities based on peer discussion and upload to workspace
11:20am – 11:30am: End of Workshop evaluation
