The Department of Microbiology at the University of Georgia invites applications for a lecturer faculty position in Microbiology, beginning August 1, 2023. This position involves management of the undergraduate microbiology degree program of the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences at the UGA Griffin Campus in Griffin, GA. Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester, the management, maintenance, and general oversight of the laboratory equipment and other items involved in the microbiology degree program offered by the College at the Griffin Campus; supervision of staff hired to assist with the operations of the laboratory programs; handling the weekly preparation of reagents and disposal of waste; and recommending improvements necessary to maintain a contemporary biological sciences degree program.
