published Aug 6, 2021 5:54amThe Tennessee STEM Education Center (TSEC) at Middle Tennessee State University is seeking an energetic, visionary educator to assist in developing and realizing the Center's mission and vision as the Associate Director and Research-Track faculty at the rank of Associate/Assistant. This is a 12-month position with a start date as early as October 1, 2021. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels to promote excellence in STEM education. This is a full-time, non-tenurable position. Duties include assisting the Director in the formulation of the Center's long-range and strategic plans; contributing to grant writing, program and project management; scholarly dissemination through refereed conferences and publications; initiating, managing, and providing program oversight for K-16 STEM outreach programs; and serving as a liaison for participating departments within the college and other university outreach support offices as related to STEM programs. The successful candidate will join a growing team of faculty, professional staff, and student researchers in identifying and addressing current issues in STEM education through outreach, service, teaching, and research.
