Course Context:
This is a lecture course with required 4-hour weekly laboratory. It has only Introduction to Geology or Biology as a prerequisite. 25% of the students are upper level Geology majors, 25% are upper level Biology majors, and 50% are undeclared sophomores or freshman (typically considering a major in a natural science).
