DOI's are now available for SERC pages

SERC now supports digital object identifiers (DOI's) for pages we host. If you would like to formally cite a SERC-hosted page, you can now include a DOI in that citation. DOI's are assigned on request. Just visit the page, click the DOI link under the author information at the top of the page (or in the footer) and fill out the request form. We'll assign a DOI which will then be visible on the page itself. This process will also cause information about the page to flow through Crossref and into the various academic bibliographic databases where it can be discovered and cited. On this example activity you can see how the DOI shows up along with the other author and publication information near the top of the page.
If you have an ORCID to track your scholarly work, you can now associate that with your SERC account. It will be displayed on your personal profile page, and also be included in the DOI-related metadata sharing described above. To add your ORCID, login to your account page, click on 'Edit Personal Info' (the 3rd button in the left column), enter your ORCID into the field directly under your name and click 'Submit these changes'.
