Introductory to Scientific Programming: Flight of a Ball
Summary
Activity that I want to share is an assignment related to the flight of the ball. Students are group into 4 and given 3 weeks to solve the complete the assignment. Problem given is an open-ended. Students need to write problem re-statement using their own word to make sure they understand. Then, they need to develop the pseudocode and Mathlab code.

1) Basic concept in programming, where they need to make problem re-statement, identify the input and output and able to develop the pseudocode before develop Matlab code.

Context for Use
1) I am teaching first year electrical engineering students. The course name is Introductory to Scientific Programming. Max class size is 30 students.
2) The assignment given is for 3 weeks only.
3) From the assignment, students are expected to write basic code of MATLAB, create function, finding maximum range and plotting graph.
