Information for Speakers and Facilitators
We will meet Tuesday, October 21 over Zoom to review session plans, go over workshop logistics, and address any questions you may have.

Speakers
- There will be two invited speaker sessions, one Monday morning and one Monday afternoon.
- Each presentation will be 7 minutes in length (unless otherwise discussed between you and Lisa).
- There will be limited time for group Q&A during the presentation sessions, as determined by the facilitator.
- We will have a projector, a screen, and a variety of cords and adapters. Bring your own computer, laser pointer if you want, and connector if you need something unusual.
- We encourage you to use visuals, demos, and/or slides to present in an engaging way.

- Download your materials ahead of time (if needed) for the speaking session at the workshop
- Upload your materials to the Program site, as a reference for workshop participants

Facilitators
- There will be multiple breakout sessions during the workshop. All of these are designed to guide participants towards their curriculum development outcomes.
- For most of the sessions, we will group participants by shared teaching focus, discipline, or a combination - staying in the same groups for the duration of the workshop.
- For each session, the main role of the facilitator is to keep the discussion on track, and to ensure the group is working towards its stated outcomes for the breakout.

- There are a set of prompts on the Program web page to help you guide the discussion. Make sure your group has those in mind and is working towards them.
- Delegate a group member to 1) take notes and (another to) 2) be the designed speaker to represent your group for any reportouts.
- Conveners and MathWorks staff are there to provide guidance to group members during the workshop.
